Poland has called on Germany to send troops to NATO's eastern border, said Andrzej Szejna, the Secretary of State of the Polish Foreign Affairs Ministry, Report informs via Rzeczpospolita.
"As the war continues on our eastern border, we welcome any participation of our allies. If the Germans do what they did in Lithuania, 'herzlich willkommen' (welcome - ed)," he said.
"Germany is our important economic partner. I believe that this should be reflected in our political relations," Szejna stressed.
