Pentagon inks $3.4B deal with Boeing on 17 P-8A Poseidon aircraft for Canada, Germany

The US Department of Defense has inked a $3.4 billion contract with Boeing Company for the production of 17 P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft, the press office of the US defense department said in a statement, Report informs referring to TASS.
According to the press service, 14 P-8A Poseidon aircraft are intended for the Royal Canadian Air Force and three additional P-8A for the German Navy.
