Parliament of Kyrgyzstan approves change in national flag

Members of the Kyrgyz parliament supported the proposal to partially change the design of the country's national flag, Report informs via TASS.
Fifty-nine MPs voted for changing the design of the national flag in the second and third readings, and only 5 were against it.
Previously, the draft law was supported by the relevant committee of the Kyrgyz parliament.
The initiative to change the design of the national flag was made by the Speaker of Parliament Nurlanbek Shakiyev in the fall of this year.
In mid-December, the country's President Sadyr Japarov said that it was he who proposed to the speaker to change the flag.
