Pakistan finally hands captive pilot to India

Baku. 1 March. REPORT.AZ/ Pakistan handed over the pilot of the Indian air force Abhinandan Varthamana, who was captured two days earlier after the destruction of the Indian MIG-29 on the Pakistani side of Kashmir, Report informs citing Sputnik.
Hundreds of Indian citizens gathered at the Attari-Wagah border crossing to meet the pilot, who was welcomed like a hero.
Notably, yesterday Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Islamabad is ready to release the Indian pilot as a "gesture of peace".
