Norway to fund part of military aid to Ukraine

Norway will allocate funds for military aid to Ukraine. The funding will be provided through the International Fund for Ukraine led by the UK Ministry of Defense, the Norwegian government's press service said.

Report informs, citing RBC-Ukraine, that, according to the department, the Norwegian government will allocate about $232.5 million for an international aid package to Ukraine, which will include approximately $115 million for equipment to strengthen Ukraine's naval forces, about $85 million for air defense systems, and about $32.5 million to provide support and spare parts for critical systems previously delivered to Ukraine.

"The war in Ukraine continues, and the need for military equipment remains critical," said Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram.
