Baku. 21 November. REPORT.AZ/ South Korea representative Kim Jong Yang has been elected the new president of Interpol, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.
Earlier, The Times named the Russian nominee the main contender for the post of head of Interpol.
Lithuania threatened to withdraw from Interpol in case the Russian candidate is elected as the president of the organization.
