Netanyahu, Biden talk about release of more hostages from Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, following a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden, said that he positively assessed the possibility of extending the four-day humanitarian pause in the Gaza Strip with the condition that Hamas releases 10 hostages per day, Report informs via TASS.

In a video message distributed by the Prime Minister's Office, Netanyahu said that he discussed with Biden the release of another group of hostages from Gaza; he called the conversation "very emotional."

“But besides this, I also want to say that we have a way to free 10 more hostages every day. This is a wonderful thing,” said the Israeli Prime Minister.

At the same time, he stressed that after the pause ends, Israel in any case intends to return to conducting a military operation in Gaza.
