High-level talks between US and Israeli officials over potential military operations in Rafah could take place in Washington, on April 1, Report informs, referring to CNN.
The Israeli delegation proposed to reschedule the talks for Monday, officials said, acknowledging the timing is complicated by a March 31 deadline facing the Israeli government to design a new law governing conscription for ultra-Orthodox Jews, long exempted from mandatory military service.
However, US officials have said no date is finalized.
Meanwhile, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, citing sources, reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the members of the military cabinet that the Israeli delegation will go to Washington next week.
