Approximately 7,800 children have been evacuated from Ukraine's Sumy Oblast due to Russian air attacks, Oleg Grigorov, head of the region's military administration, told Report.
Grigorov noted that urgent evacuation measures are currently continuing from 213 settlements in 18 districts.
"Currently, approximately 38,000 civilians have been evacuated. We understand that evacuating and relocating people from their homes is the last resort. However, at the same time, the life, health and safety of our people remains the top priority," he added.
