NATO setting up €1bn military innovation fund

NATO alliance defense ministers will adopt the alliance's AI strategy and announce the establishment of a €1 billion military innovation fund, Secretary-General of the Alliance Jens Stoltenberg said upon his arrival at a meeting of the Defense Ministers in Brussels, Report informs, citing TASS.
The NATO Innovation Fund will be used to provide grants to enhance the development of military and dual-use technologies.
In addition, NATO intends to intensify the creation of a network of technology centers DIANA, which are looking for military applications of civilian technologies being developed in the alliance member countries.
