NATO Secretary General: Russia preparing for bigger war

Russia is preparing for a bigger war, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said, Report informs.

He said that Russia is gathering many forces on the contact line with Ukrainian troops:

"Russia is preparing for a new offensive in Ukraine, especially in the direction of Bakhmut. More troops are mobilized in Russia, and weapons production is increased. We also see Moscow strengthening its ties with authoritarian states such as Iran and North Korea."

Stoltenberg said that NATO's goal is to ensure Ukraine's victory:

"The war must end on the negotiating table. Our task is to support Ukraine since we know that the negotiations are directly related to the situation on the battlefield. If we want Ukraine to win peacefully, we need to know that the best way to do that is to give military support to Kyiv."
