The Armenian side will consider Azerbaijan’s invitation to participate in the 3rd CIS Games, Armenia’s Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan, said during a conversation with journalists.
“The decision on this matter depends on various factors, including the safety of Armenian athletes. Once an appropriate decision is made, we will make it public,” said the minister.
Aygul Aghayeva, a representative of the Games’ organizing committee in Azerbaijan, earlier announced that Baku is sending official invitations to countries to take part in the 3rd CIS Games.
The multi‑sport event is scheduled for 28 September – 8 October 2025 and will feature competitions in 23 different disciplines.
