Chinese authorities will take decisive measures in response to US tariffs of 104%, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian told a regular briefing, Report informs RTHK.

"We will continue to take firm and forceful measures to safeguard our legitimate rights and interests," the spokesman said.

Lin Jian previously stated that the tariffs imposed by the United States on goods imported from other countries undermine the economic and trade world order and the process of economic recovery.
