Media: Israel ready for two-week pause in Gaza

The Israeli side is ready to suspend hostilities in the Gaza Strip for two weeks in order to free the hostages held in the enclave, according to the Israeli Arabic-language channel Makan-33, Report informs referring to TASS.
Israel is ready for a two-week ceasefire subject to the release of dozens of kidnapped people in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons, including those convicted of terrorism.
“However, the parties are still far from an agreement; the radical Palestinian movement Hamas refuses this proposal,” the report says.
