Greece is currently in talks with Israel to acquire 36 PULS missile artillery systems, Report informs via Reuters. The PULS system, developed by Israeli company Elbit (ESLT.TA), boasts an impressive range of up to 300 km (190 miles).
The potential deal, valued at 600-700 million euros (630-735 million USD), also includes the production of components within Greece. This development comes amidst ongoing negotiations between the two countries for Greece's purchase of an Israeli air and missile defense system worth 2 billion euros.
The Greek government is expected to present the deal for approval by the relevant parliamentary committee in the first quarter of 2025.
In addition to the potential Israeli deals, Greece's top decision-making body for foreign affairs and defense, KYSEA, approved the acquisition of American Switchblade drones on December 13. These drones are manufactured by AeroVironment (AVAV.O).
