Former central bank governor Mark Carney was officially sworn in as the 24th Prime Minister of Canada on March 14.
According to Report, this followed the resignation of Justin Trudeau, who had led the Canadian government since 2015.
The ceremony was broadcast live from the residence of Canada's Governor General, Mary Simon, in Ottawa by Canadian national TV channels.
