Magnitude 6.2 quake hits Afghanistan

An earthquake of magnitude 6.2 has been recorded in Afghanistan, Report informs referring to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
The epicenter of the disaster was 42 km north-west of the city of Herat, where 272,000 people live. The source lay at a depth of 10 km.
There were no reports of casualties or damage.
