Magnitude 5.8 earthquake hits Afghanistan

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 has been recorded in the Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan.
Report informs that, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the epicenter was located about 179 km east of Kunduz, which has a population of around 161,000.
The quake struck at a depth of 186 km.
There have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
