An earthquake of magnitude 5.6 has occurred in the Indonesian province of West Papua, Report informs referring to the country’s seismological and meteorological agency.
“An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 and a depth of 14 kilometers occurred on October 2 at 15:58 local time, there is no possibility of a tsunami,” reads the statement.
There were no reports of damage or casualties from the earthquake.
