French President Emmanuel Macron came to Moscow as a little telegrapher of NATO and the European Union, presidential candidate from the right-wing National Rally party Marine Le Pen said, Report informs.
“Emmanuel Macron arrived not as the French president, but as the little telegrapher of NATO and the European Union. The crisis can degenerate,” Le Pen said on the air of radio station Europe 1.
On February 7, Macron held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, which lasted more than five hours. On February 8, the French leader arrived in Kyiv, where he met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
At the end of his trip to Russia, Macron said that he had achieved his goal by preventing the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine and opening up new prospects.
