The threat of a direct military conflict between nuclear powers has increased significantly, the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov, said at the International Security Conference in Moscow, Report informs.
He blamed the West for this: "The West incites the conflict in Ukraine. They are trying to bring Russia under control. For this purpose, the United States, NATO, and the European Union are providing Ukraine with more and more modern weapons. This leads to the uncontrolled spread of weapons around the world."
Lavrov noted that this policy of Western countries is irresponsible and adventurous behavior.
