Kremlin avoids commenting on possible Russia-NATO direct confrontation

"Aggressive statements by NATO's leading countries are unfounded," Russian President Vladimir Putin's Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a briefing, Report informs with reference to TASS.
"There are different opinions about the possible clashes. This is unacceptable," he said.
Peskov declined to comment on the possibility of a direct confrontation with NATO.
