Although Pakistan is not directly negotiating with India, third countries are already working to de-escalate the situation, Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said, Report informs.
“We do not have any direct contact with the Indian side at the moment, but I think some international powers or countries that have good relations with both sides are already trying to de-escalate the situation,” Asif said.
The statement comes amid heightened tensions following India's air strikes on Pakistan on the intervening night of May 6–7.
