Italy to provide $1.7B in aid to Kyiv in 2025

Italy's share of financial assistance to Ukraine, which NATO plans to provide in the amount of $40 billion, will amount to $1.7 billion, Report informs via the Corriere della Sera newspaper.
This is significant for the Italian budget, given that over the past two years the authorities have allocated approximately 1.2 billion euros to Ukraine.
NATO allies are working to soften the language in the final statement of the summit in Washington so that the text speaks of a “political commitment” to provide assistance to Kyiv, the newspaper noted.
