Israeli army detains more than 700 people during operation in Gaza

The Israeli military has detained more than 200 Palestinians suspected of involvement in terrorism in the Gaza Strip over the past week; in total, more than 700 people have been detained and sent to Israel for interrogation during the military operation in the enclave, Report informs via TASS.

"Over the course of a week, the IDF and General Security detained hundreds of suspected terrorists in the Gaza Strip, and more than 200 Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants were brought to Israel for further questioning," the army said, adding that some of those detained surrendered to Israeli forces voluntarily.
