The head of the Egyptian state information service, Diaa Rashwan, stressed that the new agreement involves “an exchange of 20 Israeli hostages for 60 Palestinians” imprisoned in Israeli prisons.
“The extension of the truce implies the release of 10 women and children hostages daily in Gaza in exchange for 30 Palestinians in Israeli prisons,” he added.
