Iran names new commander of Quds to replace Soleimani

Brig. Gen. Esmail Ghaani has been named the next commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps’ expeditionary Quds Force.
Report informs, citing Iranian media, that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei made the appointment, following the killing of the previous leader Qassem Soleimani.
