Iran MFA: Tehran to continue enriching uranium for peaceful purposes

Iran doesn't intend to abandon uranium enrichment for peaceful purposes, continuing to follow its commitments under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, other states have no right to limit Tehran in this matter, Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Majid Takht Ravanchi said, Report informs via TASS.
"We are a bona fide participant in the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, on this basis, we enrich uranium for peaceful purposes, for the benefit of our country. No one can tell us what we should do as long as we follow our obligations under the treaty," he noted.
