Iran executes two men accused of cooperating with Mossad

Iran has executed two men accused of cooperating with Israel's intelligence agency Mossad and providing classified information during the recent conflict with Israel.

According to Report, citing Ynet, the Iranian news agency Fars said the executed men, Omid Behzad and Pouria Safut, were found guilty of providing Mossad with coordinates, photographs, and information about Iranian military personnel, police officers, and security facilities.

The death sentences were carried out at dawn following the completion of legal proceedings.

The report stated that the men acted as ground agents for Israeli intelligence and carried out assignments as part of a large-scale intelligence operation.

In particular, investigators alleged that Behzad used mapping services, including Google Maps, to identify the locations of facilities and transmit their coordinates through channels linked to Mossad.

Safut was accused of providing information about military and security facilities through a foreign satellite television network, which Tehran claims was used to collect intelligence.
