Indonesian president calls for abandoning division of countries into developed and developing

The world must stop dividing countries into developed and developing, Indonesian President Joko Widodo while speaking at the G20 summit in New Delhi, Report informs.
"We need to put an end to the dichotomy that divides the world into north and south, developed and developing countries, east and west," Widodo said.
"Indonesia continues to voice the views and interests of the countries of the Global South, as well as encourage greater regional representation. For this reason, I welcome the participation of the African Union in the G20," Widodo added.
The G20 summit is taking place in India from September 9 to 10. On Saturday, after a long discussion and agreement, a final joint statement was adopted. Indonesia held the G20 presidency last year.
