Indian PM to mull conflict in Ukraine with Macron in Paris

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will discuss the conflict in Ukraine with French President Emmanuel Macron during a visit to Paris this week, said First Deputy Foreign Minister of India Vinay Kwatra, Report informs referring to TASS.
"When two leaders meet, of course they discuss developments and challenges in different parts of the world. My Prime Minister and President Macron have discussed this issue in the past, I am sure that they will exchange views on this topic this time," the Indian diplomat said.
He noted that the Indian leadership is "constantly interacting" with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Kwatra also added that the Indian prime minister recently met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the G-7 summit in Hiroshima. "Our position [on Ukraine] is well known," he stressed.
New Delhi has previously stated that a settlement in Ukraine should be achieved through diplomacy and dialogue.
