Türkiye’s priority in connection with the conflict between Israel and Hamas is an immediate and complete ceasefire and ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) summit in the Qatari capital Doha, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.
The Turkish leader stressed that the international community must not allow the conflict in the Gaza Strip to escalate into a regional war that will include Syria.
Erdogan also said that the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is jeopardizing the security and future of the entire Middle East region in order to prolong its political life.
Regarding the economy, the president noted that Türkiye maintains its status as a “safe haven” for international investors. He assured of Ankara’s readiness to provide all possible support to investors who trust the Turkish economy.
