IMF: Among leading Western countries, worst forecast expected for UK

The forecast of analysts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for the UK economy for the current year turned out to be the worst among the leading Western countries, Report informs referring to Channel 4.
At the end of 2023, the gross domestic product (GDP) of the UK will fall by more than 0.5%.
The economic policy pursued by London does not quite hit the target. High bills for electricity and food complicate the lives of citizens. The country lacks personnel, mortgages and taxes are growing, the TV channel reported.
The British economy may face a recession this year. This will have lots of consequences and problems for ordinary citizens of the kingdom.
