Israel agrees only to short humanitarian pauses in the Gaza Strip for the supply of humanitarian aid, without a long-term ceasefire, Report informs referring to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
“There will be no ceasefire. There are tactical, local pauses for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza. These humanitarian pauses are limited in time and area,” the IDF said in a statement on social media.
The Israeli servicemen are also opening humanitarian corridors for Gazan civilians so that they can temporarily move to the south of the enclave to safer areas and receive humanitarian assistance there.
