IDF confirms elimination of banker who financed Hezbollah

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed the elimination of Haithem Abdullah Bakri, who was involved in transferring funds from Iran to the radical organization Hezbollah, Report informs, citing IDF's press service.
The military claims that Bakri's company "serves as a mechanism for storing and transferring funds to Hezbollah, received from Iran's Quds Force."
"These funds are used by Hezbollah for military purposes, including the purchase of weapons, equipment for weapons production, payment of salaries to militants, and are also redirected to support terrorist activities and the continuation of Hezbollah's terrorist operations," the army press service stated.
