IDF announces elimination of key Hamas propagandist in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced the elimination of one of the key figures in the propaganda apparatus of the Palestinian movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Report informs, citing IDF press service.

"The Israel Defense Forces have neutralized terrorist Muhammad Saleh al-Bardawil, who oversaw propaganda and psychological warfare within Hamas' military wing. Al-Bardawil played a central role in Hamas' propaganda network," the statement reads.

The IDF noted that the eliminated individual actively participated in producing propaganda videos distributed by Hamas, including footage of Israeli hostages held in Gaza.

"Although he was referred to as a well-known journalist in Gaza, he was an integral part of Hamas," the IDF added.
