Hungarian Parliament fails to vote on Sweden’s admission to NATO

The vote at an extraordinary meeting of the Hungarian Parliament on the ratification of the agreement on Sweden’s accession to NATO didn’t take place on February 5, Report informs referring to TASS.
Deputy Speaker of Parliament Sandor Lezsak noted that there was no quorum at the meeting.
The faction of the ruling party FIDES - Hungarian Civil Union, which has the majority of parliamentary mandates, refused to take part in the meeting, which was attended only by representatives of opposition parties. Only 51 out of 199 deputies were present in the hall, and the meeting was broadcast on the parliament website.
