Hungarian Justice Minister Judit Varga has submitted her resignation to head the list of the ruling Fidesz – Hungarian Civic Alliance in the European Parliament elections scheduled for 2024, Report informs referring to TASS.
“The stakes in the European Parliament elections in 2024 will be very high: a conservative turn in European institutions is needed, and I want to play an active role in this,” she said.
According to Varga, the upcoming elections to the European Parliament will be of great importance for the entire continent.
