Helicopter crashes while battling wildfire in Türkiye

A helicopter engaged in fighting a forest fire in the Kozan district of Adana province, Türkiye, met with an accident while collecting water on August 2, 2024.
According to Report, the governor of Adana, Yavuz Selim Kosger, two helicopters were deployed to combat the raging wildfire in the region. One of them crashed during a water-scooping operation.
Governor Kosger stated, "The condition of the five crew members on board the helicopter is satisfactory."
