Heatstroke kills three in Italy

Three people are reported dead from heatstroke as Italian Ministry of health put 16 large cities on red alert for extreme heat, Report informs citing the RIA Novosti.
According to the daily bulletin of the Health Ministry, these are major administrative centers, in particular Rome, Milan, Naples, Turin, Venice, Bologna and Florence, where the thermometer is now close to the 40-degree mark.
According to weather forecasters, this week was the "hottest" period of the year in Italy.
