The HAMAS movement has announced its readiness to hand over control of the Gaza Strip to the Palestinian National Authority (PNA).
Report informs via Sky News Arabia that the decision, made under pressure from Egypt during negotiations in Cairo, was communicated by HAMAS in a letter to the leadership of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
However, HAMAS has set forth conditions for the transfer of power. They demand that any of their government employees be included in the new administration and be guaranteed pension payments.
