In December, Germany will deliver another IRIS-T system and additional Patriot and Gepard units, Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv, Report informs, citing President of Ukraine’s website.
“In 2025, we will continue to deliver air defense systems, howitzers, and combat and reconnaissance drones. Additionally, six-armed Sea King helicopters. I am saying this very clearly to Putin here in Kyiv today: We have staying power. And we will stand by Ukraine for as long as necessary,” Olaf Scholz stated.
The German Chancellor also acknowledged Ukraine’s significant progress toward EU membership and reaffirmed Germany’s continued support.
