Germany's COVID tally exceeds 8 million

Another 34,145 people contracted coronavirus in Germany over the past day, Report informs.
Since the pandemic outbreak, Germany has recorded 8,122,000 COVID-19 cases.
Meanwhile, 30 people died of COVID-related health complications, bringing the country’s death toll to 115,649.
Currently, the Omicron strain of the novel coronavirus is widespread in Germany.
The country has barred the unvaccinated people from restaurants, theaters, concerts and fitness clubs.
