German Chancellor calls on Putin to end war

"Russian President Vladimir Putin must end the war," German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz said, Report informs with reference to RBC Ukraine.
He said that negotiations with Putin are needed to end the war in Ukraine.
According to the Chancellor, Germany's goal is to stop Russia's war and protect Ukraine's territorial integrity: "This requires negotiations."
Sholtz emphasized that Russia must admit that the situation cannot continue like this: "Putin must stop the war, withdraw the troops, and thereby create an opportunity for mutual understanding. The message can only be: Putin, end this war."
