G7 nations to disconnect Russian banks from SWIFT

The G7 nations will continue to apply measures to disconnect Russian banks from the global financial system (SWIFT) over the situation around Ukraine and Russia’s ongoing military operation, Report informs citing TASS that a statement issued on Thursday by the leaders reads.
"We will continue to disconnect Russian banks from the global financial system. We have already significantly worsened Russia’s financial system, aiming at operations with the assets of the Central Bank and a number of other financial institutions," the press release reads.
