French Defense Minister to visit Armenia to negotiate arms supplies

A French delegation led by Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu will visit Armenia soon, Report informs via RTL radio.
According to Lecornu, negotiations will be held on the supply of surface-to-air air defense systems and armored vehicles.
The French minister also announced the signing of a letter of intent with the French manufacturer of missile systems MBDA regarding the Mistral MANPADS. The training of the Armenian military in the field of air defense will also be discussed.
“I will go to Armenia soon at the head of a large delegation of parliamentarians and manufacturers. This is the first time in history that the French Minister of Defense is visiting Armenia,” he noted.
