France starts withdrawing its troops from Senegal

France has started withdrawing its troops from Senegal and vacated three military bases, according to the portal Senego, Report informs.
"The withdrawal of French troops from Senegal continues. Three military bases have been liberated: 'Mareschal', 'St. Exupéry' and 'Contre Amiral Proté'," the publication said.
According to Senego, the French fighters were to leave the country in September 2024.
At the moment about 200 soldiers with their families are reportedly in the camp of Ouakam and Rufisque.
