France intends to expel 39 Russian citizens

The French authorities will begin the procedure for deporting 39 Russian citizens suspected of adherence to radical Islam, awaiting the Russian Federation's consent to accept them, French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said on the air of the RMC radio station, Report informs.
"We have compiled a list of 39 Russian citizens whom we are especially closely monitoring due to suspicions of radicalization. Last week we presented it to the Russian authorities," he added.
He noted that he hopes to obtain Russia's consent on this issue.
“Before the start of the conflict in Ukraine, we deported many Russian citizens,” he said.
