France freezes assets of Hamas leader

France has announced a freeze on the assets of one of the leaders of the radical Hamas movement in Gaza, Yahya Sinvar, according to the BFMTV channel, Report informs referring to Interfax.
“The funds and economic resources owned or controlled by Yahya Sinvar (...) are subject to freezing,” the channel reports.
According to a document published in the Official Journal of the French Republic, the freeze on Sinvar’s assets is imposed for six months. Paris regards him as the organizer of the terror attack on October 7.
