Former Latvian Defense Minister Artis Pabriks has called for a fair world order that would take into account the interests of small and developing countries.
He made the remark at a panel discussion at the XII Global Baku Forum, Report informs.
He said it is necessary to achieve a fair and sustainable peace, since superpowers, despite their might, do not possess absolute power.
According to Pabriks, small states are ready to enter into alliances in the name of a fair world order.
The change in the political landscape that will inevitably follow the crisis should be based on the rule of law and a world in which major powers respect small ones, he added.
